Training plan: how it works

Participants can join equine trials, which are organized into various divisions.
Each trial is composed of five events.
Each event has three or more behaviors, patterns, or tasks.
Divisions range from unmounted and ridden work to husbandry behaviors and theoretical challenges.

Shaping: Training Progression

Criteria

The optional qualifier evaluates your understanding of positive reinforcement (R+).
You'll demonstrate a bridge signal, followed by a reward, ensuring good timing and consistency.
Additionally, you'll complete a short quiz on R+ basics, covering key concepts and common mistakes.

Future Trails: What's next?

Additionally, there will be interdisciplinary trials that cross two or more division topics, offering a unique and comprehensive challenge.
Monthly competitive trials will allow participants to continually test and improve their skills.
A leaderboard will track performance across all aspects of the program, adding an element of friendly competition and recognition.
